EBOLICHT – the stylish classics
The first lamps from Bolichwerke are still produced today with great attention to detail under the name "EBOLICHT collection". The lamp designs are known from many historic buildings of the Wilhelminian era and from countless films. Because of their straightforward design language, the lamps are equally popular with architects and lighting designers.
Genuine originals with history
The classic lamps of the Bolichwerke are elaborately manufactured according to the original drawings in the preserved historical workshops. The production requires a great deal of manual experience and only a few specialists still master the technique of forcefully pressing sheet metal over the old oak moulds.
The beautifully shaped lamps, reflectors and floodlights are pressed, rolled, punched, driven, drawn, turned, knurled, flanged and soldered from metal with considerable effort. Much of this work still requires a great deal of strength and skill to be carried out by hand using traditional tools.
Stylish variety and quality
The excellent workmanship of the lamps and the high-quality original materials such as steel, aluminium, copper, brass and porcelain are a sympathetic commitment to sustainability and the timelessness of classic industrial design. Both the historical combinations of shapes and the historical material and colour variants are still available.
